“Sustainable development requires human ingenuity. People are the most important
resource.”-

Jan Daksha Trust was established in 2007 to empower the migrant labour force from marginalised communities living in Udaipur city. Jan Daksha provides necessary support to these labourers, with a special focus on the needs of the female migrant workers.
Over the past 14 years, Jan Daksha has emerged as a vibrant institution capable of imparting the necessary support to migrant workers with the assistance of the Labour Help and Resource Centre (Shramik Sahayata Evam Sandarbh Kendra). There are umpteen number of success stories in which the labour force has been able to realise employment opportunities and drastically improve their quality of life through the help of Jan Daksha.
The institute has been operational since 2007 and so far has been able to achieve tremendous results which would not have been possible without the support of the Jan Daksha team, donors, volunteers, interns and assistance of several others who came forward to help selflessly.
I would like to express gratitude to our donors and volunteers for believing in the vision of Jan Daksha Trust and providing the necessary assistance in all development platforms.
I acknowledge the immense contribution of all the team members, who for the past 14 years have been able to achieve the target set for them by ensuring the highest quality of work. I encourage them to scale up their efforts in the forthcoming years.
